When you use Pesums, you are placing your trust in something built to deserve it. This Privacy Policy explains exactly how Pesums handles your information which, by design, is almost none at all.

Our Core Promise

Pesums collects no personal data. Not your browsing history. Not your searches. Not your passwords. Not your device information. Nothing. This is not a marketing claim it is a technical reality. Pesums is built so that your data never leaves your device. There are no Pesums servers receiving your information, because none of that information is ever sent.

What We Don't Collect

Pesums does not collect, store, transmit, or have any access to the following:

Your Browsing History

The websites you visit are never reported anywhere. Your browsing activity is completely invisible to us because it never reaches us.

Your Passwords & Login Data

All passwords and login credentials are stored in an encrypted local vault on your device. We have zero access to your accounts or authentication information.

Your Search Queries

What you search for stays on your device. We don't log searches, don't build profiles from them, and don't share them with anyone.

Your Downloads

Files you download, their names, sizes, and locations are completely private. We never track your downloads.

Your Location Data

We do not collect your IP address, GPS coordinates, or any location information. Your physical location remains private.

Your Device Information

No device fingerprinting, no hardware profiling, no unique identifiers collected by Pesums. Your device characteristics stay with you.

Your Personal Information

No email addresses, no phone numbers, no names, no demographic data. We do not ask for any of this and do not want it.

How Pesums Works Without Your Data

Everything Pesums does, it does locally on your device. Block lists, cookie rules, password storage, browsing history if you choose to keep one, and all settings are stored on your device only in local storage. Pesums does not communicate with Pesums-owned servers to function. There is no round-trip to the cloud. The browser is built offline-first. Your data is yours and goes nowhere.

          Technical guarantee: Pesums is architected so that user data never leaves your device. This
          is not a policy that could be changed later it is how the software is built.
        

Protection from Online Threats

Pesums actively protects you from a wide range of digital threats. This protection runs entirely on your device no requests are sent to Pesums servers to make blocking decisions.

Pesums Shield

Pesums Shield is our built-in protection layer. All rules are stored locally and enforced locally offline-first, with no cloud dependency.

Ad Blocker

Blocks banner ads, pop-ups, video ads, and native ads using locally stored block lists. This also prevents malvertising malicious ads that can infect your device or steal your data.

Tracker Blocker

Stops tracking scripts from Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, and thousands of other tracking services that follow you across the web. They cannot see you because their requests never complete.

Cookie Protection

Blocks third-party cookies that websites use to track you across different sites. First-party cookies needed for basic site functionality are permitted under your rules. All decisions are made locally.

Anti-Fingerprinting

Prevents websites from building a unique fingerprint of your browser using your fonts, screen resolution, plugins, and other characteristics. Canvas, WebGL, audio, and font fingerprinting are all blocked.

HTTPS Enforcement

Automatically upgrades connections to secure HTTPS wherever possible. This encrypts your traffic between your device and the websites you visit, protecting against eavesdropping and interception. This is enforced locally no Pesums server is involved.

Script Protection

Blocks malicious scripts that websites may attempt to inject into your browser to exploit vulnerabilities or steal data.

Cryptojacking Prevention

Stops websites from secretly using your device's processing power to mine cryptocurrency without your knowledge or consent.

          Important: Pesums Shield does not use a live cloud threat database. All block rules are
          maintained in locally stored lists on your device. Your browsing destinations are never transmitted to any
          server not even for security purposes.
        

No Tracking. No Profiling. No Following.

Pesums blocks every known method used to follow you across the web:

No cookie tracking: Third-party tracking cookies are completely blocked.
No pixel tracking: Invisible tracking pixels are prevented from loading.
No browser fingerprinting: Websites cannot create unique identifiers from your browser configuration.
No canvas fingerprinting: HTML5 canvas-based tracking is blocked.
No WebGL fingerprinting: Graphics card fingerprinting is prevented.
No audio fingerprinting: Your audio stack cannot be used to identify you.
No font fingerprinting: Your installed fonts remain private.
No cross-site tracking: You cannot be followed from one website to another.
No behavioral profiling: Your browsing patterns stay entirely on your device.

You Are in Complete Control

Pesums does not collect your data, but you have full control over whatever is stored locally on your device:

Clear browsing data anytime: Delete your local history, cache, and cookies whenever you want.
Private browsing mode: Browse without saving any local record at all.
Auto-delete on close: Set history and cookies to clear automatically when you close the browser.
Cookie rules per site: Accept, block, or delete cookies on a site-by-site basis, all enforced locally.

No Third Parties. No Exceptions.

We do not share data with third parties because we have no data to share. No analytics companies. No advertising networks. No data brokers. If a government authority ever presented a legally valid order for user data, we would have nothing to hand over. There is nothing on our side.

License and Payment

If you purchase a Pesums license, your payment is processed by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy handles payment information under their own privacy policy. Pesums receives only what is needed to verify your license such as a license key. We do not store your payment card details. We have no access to your billing information.

Children's Privacy

Because Pesums collects no personal information from anyone, there are no special rules or exceptions for children. We treat all users identically: we collect nothing from any of them.

Open Source & Transparent

Pesums is built on open-source technology. The code is publicly available for inspection. Security researchers, privacy advocates, and developers can verify that Pesums does exactly what it says. No backdoors. No hidden trackers. No secret data collection. You do not have to take our word for it.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

If this policy ever needs to change, the updated version will be posted here with a revised date. Our commitment to collecting zero user data is permanent that will not change.

What Pesums Is

Pesums is an independent, privacy-focused Android browser developed by a solo developer. It is not a corporation. It is not a funded company. It is independent software built by one person with the goal of giving users a browser that does not surveil them. These terms are written to be honest and readable, not to protect a legal department.

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Pesums in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Pesums.

Eligibility

Pesums is available to users of all ages. If you are under 18, you should have your parent or guardian's permission to use it. Because Pesums collects no personal data, there are no special restrictions based on age.

License to Use Pesums

Open Source Components

Pesums is built using open-source libraries and components governed by their respective licenses including MIT, Apache 2.0, and others as documented in the app. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you already have under those open-source licenses.

Updates

Pesums does not automatically install updates on your device. When updates are available, they are distributed through the app store or direct download. You choose whether to install them. We recommend keeping Pesums updated to benefit from the latest security and stability improvements.

Your Responsibilities

Pesums gives you significant freedom as a browser. That freedom comes with the expectation that you use it legally and responsibly. You agree not to use Pesums to:

Violate any local, national, or international law
Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
Harass, threaten, or harm others
Distribute malware, viruses, or other malicious software
Engage in fraud, identity theft, or deceptive practices
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to computer systems or networks

Intellectual Property

The Pesums name, logo, and visual identity are the property of the Pesums project. You may not use them to represent a different product or create the impression of affiliation with or endorsement by Pesums without explicit written permission. Referring to Pesums accurately in a review, comparison, or article does not require permission.

Disclaimers

Pesums is provided as-is. We build it carefully and take its quality seriously, but we cannot guarantee it will always be error-free or that it will protect against every possible online threat. The internet carries real risks that no browser eliminates completely. You use Pesums knowing this.

Pesums is a tool for accessing websites. We are not responsible for the content of websites you visit through the browser, nor do we endorse any website or service you reach using Pesums.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Pesums and its developer are not liable for any indirect , incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the browser including any loss of data or device issues. Our total liability in any circumstance is limited to the amount you paid for your Pesums license, if any.

Indemnification

You agree to hold harmless Pesums and its developer from any claims, damages, losses , and expenses arising from your misuse of the browser, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or the rights of another person.

Termination

You may stop using Pesums at any time by uninstalling it. Because Pesums stores everything locally on your device, uninstalling it removes your local data. There is no account to close and no server-side record of you to delete there is nothing on our side that represents you.

Changes to These Terms

If these terms change, the updated version will be posted here with a revised date. Continuing to use Pesums after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms. If you disagree, stop using Pesums.

Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pesums regarding your use of the browser.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.
